I'm interested in the simple things, in complicated ways. I love to travel, across town or around the world. I love taking long walks in the wilderness, picnics, and goodmovies. I adore good conversation and interesting people. I love photography and that, with traveling, makes everything more fun. I also enjoy good food, beer and wine.

I absolutely love cooking, both simple things and more complicated things. I love to experiment in the kitchen, and as my friends would attest, the results are usually pretty good. In that vein, I also enjoy eating out at new or interesting restaurants, and have no fear of run-down seeming restaurants. I love to experience new things, and to recreate that which worked beautifully before.

I enjoy writing, but as you can probably tell, I am not very good writing about myself.

The minute you start bringing people back from the dead or get Thor's hammer from the back of your closet, then we'll talk. UNTIL THEN, you are JUST - LIKE - ME! If you don't think so, I'll find your weaknesses and exploit them in public so that you run away like a little school girl. I'm incredibly manic - no, not maniac, thank you very much and I like to dance around the house and pretend like EVERYONE is watching. No one really is watching but my cats and they've resigned to the fact that I will forever be hopelessly nuts and as long as I keep feeding them and taking away the poopie, they're ok with that. I'm totally taking this off the top of my head because spontaneity is the spice of life and who I really am. People have often hated me for being too nice; well, I've got some advice for them - here's a dollar, buy a f*@%ing clue! Sometimes you can't look a gift horse in the mouth, especially if you know they're making glue out of the damn thing the next day. I want to be a role model for all people of the world to STOP TAKING LIFE SO SERIOUSLY and embrace your inner child because once you stop having fun is when you start growing old. OK i am a little hyper, and a little odd, so i need some one who is also a little hyper and odd or maby some one to ground me. who knows i am still not sure why i need some one, but hey is is always fun to get laid! <---- try not to take so very seriously, just the truth. doesn't mean you are going to get any :)

I am king of the nerds, with a beautiful wife and son and daughter. That is all.

I'm not your typical girl. I read and write books, I play video games, I like boxing, wrestling, working out, I love watching boxing and UFC fights, and I love football. I'm very competitive, and I like doing things outdoors, like hiking, playing sports, swimming, things like that. I like going out with my family on the boat, or four wheeling. As long as I stay active, i'm pretty much happy. I am planning on going to law school for my Juris Doctor, and from there becoming and Assistant District Attorney. I'm one of the clumsiest people you'll meet, but I'm a pretty funny person, and I seem to make people laugh, which is always a good thing. I like to think i'm decent at the piano, when most of the time i make up spurts of tunes. I would like to learn how to play the violin, but I'm not sure if I'd have the patience to learn another intrument...LOL. I enjoy writing stories, but I have a hard time finishing them, probably because I'm always doing something different. I have hopes of someday writing a ;novel or two and getting them published, but I must find a way around my writiers block... I'm not sure what exactly it is i'm looking for right now, whether it be casual dating or just making new friends. I am definately open to all, but I'm also not the kind of person to make quick decisions about anything, except maybe if it was food...LOL. I work at Soutwest Ambulance, but I don't plan on being there for the rest of my life. I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up, but i'm content to living my life as it is now, but a few more people to help ease the boredom would be nice...I like having intellegent conversations, as well as debating about a wide variety of topics.

I invented electricity and sarcasm. I have a zero sense of humor and adore people at the DMV. Both my friends and enemies think that I'm an A$shole ( yes I realize that this is misspelled, but due to the terms and conditions set forth by the good people of "okcupid.com " I must use creative spellings to draw forth its original meaning without compromising its effect) but none of them can deny that I'm not fun.

Moved down here a few years back for school and to be closer to my family. Most of my time revolves around school, which isnt so bad. I get to make my own schedule, and have lots of vacation time each year. I manage to keep busy enough with side work to still be able to travel, which is my favorite hobby. Im into outdoor activities, like to hike and camp. Fitness is very important to me, I spend a lot of time swimming, running, and staying in shape, as well as eating healthy and not excessively partying. I love to write, but I hate writing about myself so I'm afraid this section will suffer an embarrassing number of rewrites..

I'm consistently unpredictable, but I'm still figuring out what that statement really means. I'm one of those "try anything once" kinda people though admittedly it gets me into trouble most days, it is also responsible for the things in my life I'm the most proud of. I get tattoos because they're cheaper than therapy. I make inappropriate jokes when I'm uncomfortable, as if sarcasm doubles as kevlar,and usually I don't speak in broken sentences and random 'I statements'.

To be perfectly honest (Is there really such a thing?) I'm not looking to hook up.. it's just not my scene right now. Just looking for decent people to hang out with and some good conversation.

I pretty much made this because i was bored out of my mind one day and i was looking for some tests to take and some people to talk to. Basically im just a down to earth nice person. Well I suppose I should start by stating something important, that I am not a bastard. Not in the literal meaning of bastard but in the way that you would describe someone you dislike.

Moving forward I am confident but too hard on myself I am told. I used to feel a connection with people around me but as I age I find myself drawn inward and becoming reclusive. Perhaps this has something to do with the realization that the world is not what I hoped it was when I had hope for the world.

I am modest mostly which I do not find difficult except when competition incites my desire to win. I know I am good and unless I feel provoked or threatened I am very relaxed and composed.

As for other attributes of my personality I am not as outgoing or engaging to strangers as I once was. I think at some point I just lost interest in meeting people who have no concept about themselves or the world and have no interest in just listening to silence sometimes. I still try on occasion to be unrestrained and enthusiastic and if in the right mood I have some of the best banter and witticisms around.

I am a good person and always try to do what is best although it can be argued that what is best at a given time may not have been the most favorable course of action later.

So I think that was a fairly honest self summary. I may add more if I feel the need. At the moment I am more inclined to move on.

Hey my name is Charissa! Lets see, about me. Well Im just barely getting to know myself. But here's what I've gotten so far, I love collecting CDs regardless if ipods are taking over the world, I eat peanut butter and banana sandwhiches sometimes for breakfast, and I like to pass out on the couch while the TV is on. I am going try to starting this off by telling you what I am looking for. I can not say that I spend a lot of time on this subject, too many other things to do. And I do not understand it that well anyway. So I"m off; I am 58 years old 5 10 and about 180 pounds depending on how much ice cream my son has left . He is ten tears old, opps wrong subject again. I work in construction, operate heavey equipment, don"t know ? think Fred Flintstone in the quarry. Yep ya got it, thats what I do. Other times I camp, wander around, love to wander thru pine forest, up mountainns and the ocean is pretty cool too. Like to scuba dive,{ Memorial Day, drifting the Salt river, see what the tubers lost is next} canoes and kayaks, target shooting and photography rate up there cause my boy can play too. Building a 4x4 Bronco in the garage, yea nother toy ah well got to havem. Everyone hates writing these things, its hard trying to sum up who you are in just a paragraph. Things change, life changes and we're always trying to improve ourselves.
But some things that I know for sure about myself are that I try to do the right thing and yet I also have a fun and adventurous side. I love spur of the moment trips out of town or when my friends call me at odd hours just to meet for a good conversation. I can be a girly girl or a bit of a tomboy. I can go toss a football in the park with the guys but I also am a true romantic and believe in great love stories.
I definitely have an old fashioned side. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era.
Since Im getting a bit older Ive realized that the worst thing you can possibly do is not be yourself. Which isnt too hard because I have a wide range of interests so I usually find something in common with everyone.

Well, let's see I live in AZ and am currently just working full time to pay the bills and living my life day by day. I like anime; from wall scrolls to collecting to watching to reading. I am a fan. I like to hang out with friends, whether it be out at a bar, a movie, etc., or just at a friend's house watching a movie. or whatever is on TV, playing video games or something of the like. It's also nice to camp out from time to time & it's good to get away from it all. A bonfire is nice while camping or at a moonlit beach.

I'm a pretty, mellow laid back person. I don't really get worked up, stressed out, or offended. I'm a go with the flow kinda person, that's just who I am. I don't bother to get upset with people that don't like me, I just don't care. I am who I am and I change for no one but me. I also just can enjoy a quiet night at home listening to music, reading a book, or just chilling out. I can't live without my computer or internet, yes I am a bit of a geek but that's just who I am.

Hey everybody, I am excited to be on here and meet some new awesome people. I moved out here to Arizona a few years ago so I could be closer to my family. Otherwise, I probably would have stayed in California(God, I miss Temecula). Most people don't know this about me, but I tend to enjoy quiet times reading or watching a movie over crowded places. I love music and its a big part of my life, I love going to concerts even for a band I don't prefer just for the enviorment. I can almost stand any kind of music but country, and I have really started getting into the death and black metal scene only because of the highly addictive and fast paced dancing that goes along with it. I am very conservative with my money but can splurge when needed, I also can be very OCD. Nothing intense but it keeps me and my life very clean and organized.
